We would like to urgently warn you about fake shops that have specifically targeted our Babara-Mode brand in order to fraudulently profit from our popularity. These fake shops unscrupulously steal our products, images, product names, collections and descriptions and thereby cause considerable damage to our good reputation.

The scam of fake shops 😠

The aim of these fake shops is to deceive and cheat you as a customer. They brazenly use our pictures and models to inspire trust. If you place an order with these shops, you can consider yourself lucky if you receive anything at all! The strategy of these scammers is to only actually ship 10% to 30% of orders in order to keep payment partners such as Paypal, Stripe or Klarna on their side for as long as possible.

As soon as the complaints to the payment service providers get out of hand because the majority of orders received are not completed, the fraudsters close the fake shop and open another fake shop under a new company name to continue their fraudulent activities. Since this business model does not work for long, many fraudsters create several similar-looking fake shops, all of which follow the same strategy.

Our reputation on the internet suffers enormously from these schemes. Anyone can leave a review on review sites like Trustpilot, even without actually having placed an order. The fraudsters buy numerous negative fake reviews to further damage our reputation. In addition, confused customers who have received inferior goods from these fake shops falsely rate our Trustpilot profile because they are not aware that we are not responsible for them.

Unfortunately, the problem is not limited to fake shops. Large Chinese companies like Temu and other suppliers also steal our products and sell them at dumping prices. These companies shamelessly disregard our intellectual property rights and exploit our designs and ideas for their own purposes.
